Extra heavy-duty UDL-109 steel braces are built for mining trucks and are to be exclusively used as a pair. They feature heavy duty flat tops. The UDL-109 can safely support dump beds at higher angles than standard manufacturer props, allowing employees safe access to a broader area beneath the dump bed.
These braces accommodate flanges up to 9 inches. Designed with fork pockets for lifting onto the frame with a forklift, and installs between the truck frame and dump box. They also meet OSHA’s recommendations for safeguarding employees working under raised dump truck bodies by serving as an effective “truck bed brace bracket” (OSHA SHIB 09-18-2006).
